Finally available the debut of the Coruña Cruzeiro Doom and I think this is the best (october 31th, all hallows eve), with all the meaning it has within the gallician tradition: cruceiros, santa compaña and others mystical elements
His career started in 2019 with Gon (AkoúΦenom) on guitar, Raposa! on bass and Rust on drums, it is not until 2020 when he sets up his definitive line-up with Beatriz Onix (ex-Misty Gray) on vocals. With the idea of making a psychedelic, dense and introspective Stoner / Doom, in September they enter at Moontower studios to record the four songs that end up reflected on this debut album.
40 minutes of an overwhelming, cosmic and mystical sound in which the shadow of the best Stoner/Doom bands always glides, following the path started by people like Electric Wizard, Acid King or Monolord but without losing sight of titans like Black Sabbath or Cathedral: monumental, long, dense, lilting & lysergic songs, tons of reverb, superb duels between guitar and bass and a lyrics that revolves between the mystical, the mythological and the strange.
The digipack CD that we present to you, co-released with the Polish label Interstellar Smoke Records, includes a 12-page booklet with some sensational illustrations designed by the bassist Raposa!. Available from today for € 8 + expenses and limited to 500 copies
