Misty Grey is a real Doom Metal band from Madrid that keeps the flame alive of such bands as Black Sabbath or Pentagram right now. After releasing their demo Demon (2013) on Urtod Void and Bellum Musicae Records and their demo compilation The Third Man (2014) on Metal ör Die Records, the labels Out of the Past, Vertebrae & Topillo Records are pleased to join forces at last to release this CD from their debut album Grey Mist, until now only available in a very limited cassette edition (2015) through Shadow Kingdom.
Seven tracks of genuine Doom Metal that seems to come directly from the heart of Maryland paying tribute to the Doom Gods: Spirit Caravan, Witchfinder General and of course Black Sabbath and Pentagram. The characteristic dark and bluesy sound from guitars along with a loud and surrounding rhythm base and demonic voices get blended to create a magnificent atmosphere that carries on during the 35 minute journey. Authentic doom for the dark current times.
