about

Terror rises again from the grave and the gouls come out of their crypts to gnaw the mouldy human bones.

Under the most classic Doom Metal assumptions, we re-release the first full-length album by the band from Madrid. After a first self-release already sold out in little more than a month, Vertebrae joins forces with Metal Crusaders and Imbunche records to make available again the first full-length of this quintet from Madrid that picks up the best tradition of Doom in the style of Pentagram or Reverend Bizarre with some epic touches in the style of Candlemass or Sorcerer.

The band was born as a project of four friends who, after playing in Skull Bastards, Wasteland Riders or Ariete, decided to cross classic Doom with the world of horror. After having released their first demoEP ‘Doom awakens evil’ and having recruited Noe, vocalist of Grimcurse, and Pizarro, bassist of Omission, the band locked themselves in Traste Zero studios to give birth to eight tracks full of darkness and pain.

An hour of heavy, slow and doughy sounds, the density and strength of the rhythmic base intersects with an excellent guitar melody work accompanied by Noe's dramatic voice that crowns an excellent instrumental work. And, to top it all off, the group focuses thematically on the classics of Hammer literature and horror films, permeating the booklet and, above all, the cover in clear homage to Klaus Kinski.

A complete Doom Metal work with a 16 pages booklet limited to 500 copies available for 8€ + shipping.
